Our history

  • 1988

    Creation of DECADE, a company born in the 'Digital' world

    After three years with DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation), among an innovative corporate culture and technologies, Marc Jerusalmi founds DECADE in June 1988.

    DECADE specializes in custom development on the “Digital” platform.

  • 1993

    First partnership with Microsoft

    Very early, DECADE became involved in the integration of microcomputing and enterprise computing (client-server architectures) and, in the early 1990s, became one of the very first Microsoft partners in France for the development of enterprise solutions.

  • 1997

    DECADE's www.decade.fr is launched as a unified point of access to our public website, intranet, and extranet

    A pioneer in the field of remote work with an extended vision for the company, DECADE commits to the web. DECADE innovates by creating one of the first intranets accessible from www.decade.fr.

  • 1998

    Creation of DECADE Tunisia in Monastir

    This is the beginning of a great collaboration between remote teams which will become a major strategic advantage for DECADE over the years.

  • 2000

    DECADE offers 'La mise en ligne de l'entreprise' (Bringing business online)

    With the advent of the web, DECADE formulates its vision for the future of business. They go “online” by moving their activities to the internet and integrating all parties in their development.

    DECADE positions itself in the development of enterprise internet, intranet, and extranet solutions.

  • 2007

    Beginning of the e-commerce specialization

    With its technical know-how and the experience acquired through its role in the development of Fnac.com since 1998, DECADE is entrusted with the redesign of Sarenza.com. This was followed by several years of close collaboration, during which DECADE developed in-depth knowledge of e-commerce and high-performance sites.

  • 2010

    DECADE becomes an e-commerce platform integrator

    From 2010, DECADE has gained experience and success in the creation of large-scale B2C and B2B e-commerce projects. Fueled by technical and functional expertise developed on platforms such as Hybris or Magento and on open-source environments, still active today, DECADE becomes a renowned e-commerce integrator.

  • 2014

    DECADE recognized and rewarded as an e-commerce platform integrator

    At the end of a 5-year development plan, DECADE becomes one of France’s leading e-commerce integrators. DECADE ranks among the top 3 European partners of SAP on Hybris. Start of the collaboration with Intersport and Rubix (formerly IPH/Orexad).

    The same year, DECADE extends its presence in Tunisia and the capabilities of its technical division by opening a site in the capital city of Tunis

  • 2015

    Launch of R&D : from e-commerce to online business

    Beginning in 2015, DECADE engages in R&D and, in 2017, launches an innovation project that will allow it to develop an in-depth knowledge of commerce and its foundations. This is the beginning of a new phase of its development based on its original Business Management methodology.

  • 2019

    DECADE positions itself in Consulting and Implementation

    DECADE makes its Consulting and Implementation position official for online business. Eric Achour joins Marc Jerusalmi at the head of the company to accompany the implementation of DECADE’s original project.

    The same year, DECADE creates two new sites in Tunisia, in Sfax and Sousse, and sets up in Lyon for a strategic partnership with its client Rubix.

  • 2020

    DECADE goes through the COVID pandemic alongside its clients

    In the context of an exceptional pandemic crisis, DECADE demonstrates the relevance of its vision and the strength of its development model by achieving a 14% growth in sales. DECADE is perfectly prepared to help its customers bring their activities online in the post-Covid world.
